Year-End Awards & Membership Levels

CATEGORY 1 - Rated Divisions as specified on the Year-End Divisions page.
Only Regional members are eligible for year-end awards in these divisions.

CATEGORY 2 - Local In-state non-rated divisions. Both Regional and Local members can earn points and are eligible for year-end awards.

How Points Are Processed

We track your show results and award points based on the kind of AHJA approved show you’re competing in:

Category 1: USEF-rated classes at AHJA approved shows in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, California, and Nevada
Category 2: Unrated/Outreach classes at approved AHJA in-state shows.

POINT SYSTEM

Arizona Category 1 Divisions

Arizona Show USEF Rated classes (excluding Outreach divisions) shall receive the points below regardless of the USEF rating of the show or the number of entries in the classes. Classics shall receive 2x the points. No points for Champion or Reserve Champion.

Contiguous State Category 1 Divisions

Contiguous State Show USEF Rated classes (excluding Outreach divisions) shall receive the points below regardless of the USEF rating of the show or the number of entries in the classes. Classics shall receive 2x the points. No points for Champion or Reserve Champion.

Category 2 Divisions

All AHJA Category 2 (unrated/Outreach) division classes (including Outreach and Medals) at AHJA approved horse shows shall receive the points listed below. No other classes other than those listed by AHJA shall receive points. Classics shall receive 2x the points. No points for Champion or Reserve Champion.
