Mary Bernando
Position: Director

Mary started riding horses at 6 years old. During her junior years, she achieved success in the hunter, equitation, and jumper divisions.  She then took time off to pursue higher education and career development and currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Tenet Physician Resources in Arizona.

As an adult, Mary has competed across the country with several of her horses but her most cherished victories include winning the AHJA Hunter of the Year title on two different horses and winning both the 3’ & 3’3” AHJA equitation finals.

Recently, she completed her term on the Zone 8 USHJA committee and is dedicated to giving back to the horse community and establishing an environment that promotes education and prioritizes the horse.
