The 2026 AHJA Medal Finals will be held on Saturday, October 24th and Sunday, October 25th, 2026, during the Scottsdale Classic Fall 2 at Westworld of Scottsdale. Congratulations to all riders who have earned their place in this prestigious event!

Through an extra-ordinary AHJA Board of Directors voted rule change:

In all AHJA Medal classes there are 2 ways to qualify: 

1.  Complete a medal class in an AHJA approved Arizona horse show.

2.  Accure .5 points at  any AHJA approved horse show outside of Arizona.

Any AHJA approved show may run any or all of the AHJA Medals.  In addition, riders may qualify for the AHJA Medal Finals in any of the corresponding medals listed that are held at AHJA recognized shows and USEF rated shows that are AHJA approved.

AHJA Junior/Amateur Medal Recognized Substitutions:

Any 3’3” or higher medal class held at an AHJA-recognized show or USEF rated show held in
Arizona or states contiguous to Arizona (California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico)

AHJA Children’s Medal Recognized Substitutions:

Any 2’9”-3’0” medal class held at an AHJA-recognized show or USEF rated show held in
Arizona or states contiguous to Arizona (California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico)

AHJA Adult Medal Recognized Substitutions:

Any 2’9”-3’0” medal class held at an AHJA-recognized show or USEF rated show held in
Arizona or states contiguous to Arizona (California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico)

AHJA Mini Medal Recognized Substitutions:
Any 2’3”-2’6” medal class or 2’3”-2’6” equitation special held at an AHJA-recognized show or
USEF rated show held in Arizona or states contiguous to Arizona (California, Nevada, Utah,
Colorado and New Mexico)
